Criminal Cases and Due Process

The volume of criminal cases being tried across the United States, coupled with many agencies being understaffed, makes it challenging for agencies to stay current on legal issues. Recognizing the importance of staying current on legal issues, in this activity you will practice your research skills, while refining your presentation skills, by providing a summary of selected legal cases most associated with the criminal justice system.
Your task is to prepare a presentation for delivery to local criminal justice stakeholders. This presentation will be a minimum of 22 slides.
Complete the following for this assignment:
Use this Web site to locate 1 case involving each of the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth, and 14th Amendments. You will locate a different case for each amendment, for a total of 5 different cases. The cases should have occurred in the last 10 years.
Create an introductory slide for your PowerPoint presentation to provide the reader your project’s purpose and scope.
Create 4 slides for each case example for each case that you have chosen:
Slide 1 will provide the introduction (or basis) for the case
Slide 2 will provide the summary of the case
Slide 3 will provide the key legal question(s)
Slide 4 will provide the decision

Create a conclusion slide for your PowerPoint presentation that wraps up the entire presentation and provides the reader with your thoughts on your findings about the state of law regarding these amendments.
Be sure to cite all references in APA format.

Write my research paperMarion and Oliver define interest groups as “pressure group, special interest, organized interest, of faction, as a group of citizens who are organized and attempt to influence legislation so it reflects their interest or policy goals.” (p.281). Criminal Justice Discussion Assignment

Criminal Justice Discussion Assignment
Write my research paperThe discussion posts should demonstrate critical thinking and insight, making certain to touch upon the salient themes of the assigned reading. Each original posting must contain a minimum of 250 words and be free of grammatical errors. Each response post must be a minimum of 50 words and be more substantive than “I agree” or “I disagree.”.Discussion question:Is there a subculture of violence in your home city or town? If so, how would you describe its environment and values? If not, what about your city or town keeps this subculture away?Remember, your initial post should be 250 words and your response to a the classmate discussion below with 50 word’s, both being substantive in contentClassmate discussion response:Kendall CorbinWhen I was growing up in Goodyear, Arizona (Estrella Mountain Ranch Community) there wasn’t much of a subculture of violence. Estrella Mountain Ranch is middle-class suburbia which at the time that I was growing up was fairly new. The closest grocery store was a thirty-minute drive away and the stars in the sky were not affected by city lights. I believe the distance and wealth of the community kept most of the subculture away. Schools fights were not a problem because everyone knew each other. The community was extremely well maintained because of Home Owner Association and because people took great care of their homes. I knew everyone that lived on the cul-de-sac and very few of our neighbors kept their doors locked. It was extremely rare to see a police car patrolling the streets, but the two massive parks did have a security guard. Now that I am older I can look back on where I grew up and really analyze what made the community so safe.1. The adults were aware of what was going on at school, on the street, and heavily involved in their kid(s) life.2. Although the community was in the middle of nowhere, the adults knew that it was a blessing and a course. Much of the riff-raff would not venture up to a community that’s 11 miles up a mountain, but if help was needed it was pretty far away. 3. Last but not least everyone looked out for each other because we were so far away from a police station, hospital, and other essentials. Purchase the answer to view itPurchase the answer to view it
